Krugerrand Gold Coins

The South African Gold Krugerrand was the world's first ounce denominated gold coin. Krugerrands were first offered in 1967 as an excellent way for individuals to make an investment in gold bullion. In 1980 fractional Krugerrand gold coins were offered for smaller investments. Each coin is minted in 22 karat gold.
For decades these coins were the preferred method for investing in gold bullion.
